Cuvée En Caradeux
In Caradeux, the Premier Cru closest to the village, facing the rising sun but in the morning shadow of the Corton hill. Steep, it remains cooler than the Premiers Cru further south and further from the village. Very stony orange-brown soil. Excessively limey. The mineral material is very homogeneous and has a silty-clay composition. A burst of intense black fruit reveals itself from year to year with real depth and very long tannins.
