The Five Fragrance Blend takes its name from the five elements, not the five spices, that this blend contains. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the five elements manifest in different parts of the body, and the blend helps maintain the balance necessary for good health. There is no one-size-fits-all Five Fragrance Blend; it varies depending on the person making it.
 Profile Our 5 Parfums blend was created in collaboration with the Bao Family. It boasts beautiful woody and aniseed notes to bring a touch of indulgence and freshness to your dishes. Red Sichuan berry gives this blend its power and unique character.
 Like all our blends, the spices are ground and blended regularly in our workshop in Paris. This 5 Parfums contains cinnamon, star anise, fennel seeds, cloves, and red Sichuan berries.
 INSPIRATIONS, IDEAS AND RECIPE SUGGESTIONS:
 Uses In Asia, this blend is often used to flavor braised or roasted dishes. It's also an excellent marinade base, combined with soy sauce, honey, and fresh ginger. The kitchens at Gros Bao use it daily, particularly to make their Peking Duck.

 La Bao Family offers uninhibited and accessible cuisine, which highlights tradition without distorting it. It is in this spirit that the desire to create a true Chinese canteen was born. Originally from Wenzhou, an hour north of Shanghai, founder Céline Chung grew up with her mother's traditional cooking and wanted to put her favorite dishes in the spotlight in a living space reminiscent of the atmosphere of Chinese restaurants that we all have a slightly vintage memory of... Intentionally playing with our emotions, she succeeded in mixing "made in Belleville" codes, her inspirations from her travels from Shanghai to Hong Kong, and a subtly pop and modern atmosphere.
 La Bao Family is Petit Bao, a shop in Saint-Denis, Paris, that has become a landmark for Chinese street food, showcasing Shanghainese cuisine. It's also Gros Bao, the large canteen that showcases traditional Chinese cuisine from several regions of China, all with a modern and kitsch vision.
