 It is in the heart of the beautiful Ortolo Valley in the town of Sartene that Castellu di Baricci is nestled.
 At the foot of the Omu di Cagna mountains, which peak at 1,217 m, the estate has been operated since the beginning of the 19th century by the same family and contributed to the Valley's wine-growing reputation.
 A new lease of life in 2000 helped the rebirth of the estate, which today finds its legitimacy through quality production on a property of more than 150 hectares. The estate took the name of Castellu di Baricci, a medieval castle overlooking the valley, headquarters of Renucciu della Rocca. A cradle of noble products, this agricultural entity is based around the cultivation of vines, olive trees and tourist reception to be representative of what Corsica does best.
