 THE BRUNETTES
 The brown soils of volcanic origin gave their name to this wine, the Mourvèdre and the Cabernet Sauvignon expressing all its strength.
 Grape varieties: 70% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 10% Grenache
 Terroir: Clay-limestone plateau of gravel and Villafranchian terraces. Basalt flow for Cabernet-Sauvignon.
 Management: Short pruning – royat for the balance of training and maturity, grassing one row out of two

 Reasoned protection: Yield 40 hl/ha.
 Phenolic maturity: Optimum sought for silky tannins.
 Vinification: 25-day vatting of a harvest that is always destemmed at high temperature
 Aging: 17 months in new French oak barrels, selection of fine grains, medium toast plus.
