 Aleppo pepper, a Capsicum annuum variety, comes to us from Turkey. Aleppo pepper is moderately hot, around 10,000 on the Scoville scale. Aleppo pepper is a chili pepper native to the Aleppo region of Syria, and is now mainly cultivated in Turkey.
 Profile It has a fruity taste and sweet nuances. It is more oily and salty than the Espelette pepper; salt is often used in the drying process. Its flavor is rather sweet and fruity. It is a round pepper with a scent of dried tomatoes.
