Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) is a shrub in the Fabaceae family. It is also sometimes called red bush. It grows mainly in South Africa in the Cederberg mountains, located north of the city of Cape Town, in the fynbos and which benefit from a Mediterranean climate.
